Let go of everything
I think it’s time now,
I gave it all,
all up to you Lord.
And I think it’s time now,
for me to find some peace,
peace within my soul.
And I think it’s time now,
for you and me to rest,
rest in peace with our issues.
And I think it’s time now,
for you to let go,
let go of all we had,
let go of all the memories,
let go of all the hurt and pain,
and finally let go of me,
or you will never be free.
I’m sure that God will show you the way,
the way to make things right,
but you have to let him take control,
take full control of everything.
Or you will never know,
which way is the best one to go.
